Agnes Grega Hartnett passed away Friday February 26, 2010 at Memorial Hermann Southwest hospital from complications resulting from her battle with cancer. She was born on December 21, 1942 in Hazleton, PA where she lived until relocating to New Orleans, LA and then Rosenberg, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents Andrew and Anna Grega, her brother Andrew Grega Jr., and her first husband John N. Jones Sr. She was survived by her husband of 18 years John Harnett of Rosenberg, TX, brother Thomas Grega, daughter Dianna and Mason Little of Rosenberg, TX, daughter Theresa Alshefski of Hazel Township, PA, daughter Jacqueline and James Peca of Drums, PA, son John and Laura Jones of Prairieville, LA, and son Jeffrey and Stephanie Jones of Rosenberg, TX. She is also survived by her grandchildren Kristy and Ricardo Cosme of Parkville, MD, Robert Shearer III of Drums, PA, Renee Alshefski of Hazel Township, PA, Kyle Little, Anthony Clement, and Vincent Jones of Rosenberg, TX, and Grace Chustz of Prairieville, LA. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to the Agnes Hartnett memorial fund c/o Amegy Bank in Rosenberg, TX.
