James Edward Bufford, born Tuesday, January 13, 1925, passed away in Houston Texas, Thursday, December 28, 2006, at the age of 81 years. He was born to Jackson and Georgia (Ward) Bufford in Rusk, Texas. He leaves to cherish twenty nine years of memories, his wife Mary Louise(Bailey)Bufford. He is also survived by his son Ronnie Bufford and wife Dawn; step-sons Byron Nelson, Rodney Nelson, and Stephen Nelson; step-daughter Mary Nelson Bourgeois; sister Joyce Arnold and brother Johnny Bufford; 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceeded in death by his parents and his son Bobby Ray Bufford. A visitation will take place Saturday, December 30, 2006 from 11:00am-1:00pm at Memorial Baptist Church located at 6901 Fairmont Parkway, Pasadena, Texas 77505. Funeral services will commence at Memorial Baptist Church at 1:00pm, followed by interment at Grandview Cemetery, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, Texas 77505
