Christine Jones Anderson, 89, passed away on June 29, 2012 in Hockley, Texas. She was born on February 27, 1923 in Decatur, Georgia.

She is survived by her sons, John Dewitt Anderson & Robert Pierce Anderson; daughter, Jane Elizabeth Schrick; grandchildren, Richard Besselman, Nicole Chandler, Emily Anderson, Katherine Anderson & Daniel Curnutt; and her great-grandchildren, Ryan Besselman, Reed Besselman, Madison Besselman, Holden Chandler & Carson Chandler. She was preceded by her husband of 25 years, Dewitt W. Anderson; her parents, Ralph Tatton Jones & Bessie Mae Lipscomb Jones; her brother, Ralph T. Jones; her sisters, Hannah Reid & Betty Wiley and her grandson, Andrew Schrick.

The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 from 1 to 2 PM at Saint Paul Presbyterian Church (7200 Bellaire Boulevard Houston, TX 77074) with the funeral at 2:00 PM, Dr. Kevin Boyd officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery – 12800 Westheimer, Houston, TX 77077.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked donations be made directly to the church.
