OBITUARY – ROBERT ANDREW CASEY

BORN: Chicago, Ill, June 16, 1930

PARENTS: Deceased: Thomas Patrick Casey and Winifred Connolly Casey

WIFE: Mary Alice Long Casey. Married Sept. 11, 1954, Blessed Sacrament Church, Elizabeth, NJ.

SIBLINGS: Predeceased by William Ray Casey; Thomas Patrick Casey, Jr.;
Mary Winifred Baker; Francis Owen Casey.
SURVIVED BY: John J. Casey, Patricia A. D’Entremont, Margaret M. Duff, Vincent Casey, Joseph Casey, and Elizabeth C. Scott.

Children: Mary Anne Marra (Patrick); Thomas Patrick Casey (Sharon); William Aloysius Casey (Lindsay); Theresa Mary Casey; Katherine Mary Kelly; Robert Andrew Casey; Ellen Mary Taylor (Scott), Joseph Michael Casey (Kristi).

Grandchildren: Michael Michaud, Patrick Marra, Michael Casey Marra; Andrew Barney, Maire Casey, Kathleen Casey; Evin Joice, Sydney Joice-Casey, Liam Joice-Casey, Dominic Rincon, Samantha Rodriguez, Scott T. Taylor, Andrew Casey Taylor, Elizabeth Taylor, Caroline Taylor; Eileen Casey Kelly; Allison Kelly; Hailey and Evan Neal, Kendall and Logan Jones; four great-grandchildren: Malachi, Brennan, Sophia and Elliot.

Graduated: Immaculate Conception HS, 1947, Montclair, NJ. After graduating high school Bob entered the US Navy and attended boot camp at Great Lakes Naval Station. Bob proudly served aboard the USS Franklin D. Roosevelt, was discharged September 1949, and spent 6 years in Naval Reserve.

Retired From Burnett Personnel Company, Houston, in 1992.

Bob was an active member of St. Ambrose Parish since 1978; also had been an active member of St. Ambrose St. Vincent de Paul Society, St. Ambrose Golden Youth, and Houston Galveston Diocesan Senior Senate.

Bob and Mary enjoyed several trips after retirement. One trip was to Ireland with a group from their parish in Bloomfield, NJ, and another trip was through the Panama Canal with several family members.

Bob was a diehard Chicago Cubs fan and a fan of the Chicago Bears.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Ambrose Church or to the St. Ambrose St. Vincent de Paul Society.
