I came to know Barbara as Jerry's wife, but learned to enjoy and respect her. I know she was a good wife and mother and I'm sorry she will no longer be spouse of the class of 56 but she will always be in our memories.

Dear Jerry and Family,Barbara was a loving friend to so many. She gave me great support during my battle with cancer. I know that she will be missed by many people who cared so much for her. May you find some consolation in knowing how meanful her time of earth was for others, Ray Clarke

Although I had been in contact with Barbara for only one year, I was deeply saddened to hear of her passing. Sharing the same ancestors gave us a kinship which overcame the distance between us. Even though I have never met Barbara, our correspondence has enabled me to feel a real warmth towards her. I will miss our emails.

I just heard the sad news from Laura. I'm so sorry for your loss. I won't be able to attend her service since I'm leaving for California on Saturday and will be gone for one week. I will miss her in the Hospitality Center and at the Survivor Conference. She is better off now, a life without pain. We celebrate her life as we suffer with our pain.
