I came to know Barbara as Jerry's wife, but learned to enjoy and respect her. I know she was a good wife and mother and I'm sorry she will no longer be spouse of the class of 56 but she will always be in our memories. |

| Although I had been in contact with Barbara for only one year, I was deeply saddened to hear of her passing. Sharing the same ancestors gave us a kinship which overcame the distance between us. Even though I have never met Barbara, our correspondence has enabled me to feel a real warmth towards her. I will miss our emails. | |

| I just heard the sad news from Laura. I'm so sorry for your loss. I won't be able to attend her service since I'm leaving for California on Saturday and will be gone for one week. I will miss her in the Hospitality Center and at the Survivor Conference. She is better off now, a life without pain. We celebrate her life as we suffer with our pain. |
